Recreation Room and TV
Our new Recreation Room was opened in 2008. It is a modern building with TV (Freeview Satelite) table tennis tables, Pool Table and several arcade games. 3 Kiosk Internet Computers (coin operated) are available and provide skype and memory card inputs. This new facillity is also available for groups to use for BBQ's, gatherings, etc. Tables and chairs are also provided. A gas BBQ is available for guest use.
Blue Lake TOP 10 Holiday Park can also offer a lock up facility for mountain bikes.
Playground
The holiday park, being on 15 acres of grass areas, bush and paved areas, is a playground in itself. Children have a wonderful time mixing with others - they can often be seen riding their bikes around the Park.
We have a huge trampoline (and a smaller one for young children), a slide, monkey bars and a swing bridge all surrounded by a soft and safe bark base to minimise the somewhat inevitable scrapes and bruises! There is plenty of room to play games and don’t forget the lake!
There is a pontoon to swim out to. Our latest addition, are 3 Fun Bikes which can be hired from the Office.
Wireless and Internet Facilities
Feeling the need to keep in touch with the rest of the world?
Recently, Blue Lake Top 10 has formed a partnership with the Internet Access Company (IAC) which has resulted in greater coverage of wireless capability throughout the Park. Wireless Pin Cards are available from the office or you can use your credit card when you go online. A new Internet lounge was opened in November 2009 which resulted in more computers being available. 2 Kiosk Computers are also available in the Recreation room (coin operated) with Skype and memory card facilities.
When you purchase your IAC Wireless Pin Card from another participating TOP 10 Park (Waihi Top 10 Papamoa TOP 10, etc) you can continue to use this card at Blue Lake.
